I purchased a saree worth ₹3000, but when I opened it at home, I found it damaged. I immediately contacted the seller and sent it back for a replacement. However, despite waiting for a long time, I still haven't received my saree. I have followed up multiple times, but there has been no proper response from their side. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I trusted their service, but this experience has been nothing but a hassle.

Liars, fraud and cheats. Talking sweet to sell fake products. Bought photo frame which they claim that it's made of rose wood . But it turned out to be artificial fibre material BEWARE

A Disappointing and Deceptive Experience at Balaji Cauvery Silk, Arts & Crafts Emporium – Tirupati I visited Balaji Cauvery Silk, Arts & Crafts Emporium in Tirupati with my family on 20th March 2025. Our intention was to purchase genuine sandalwood products and some other traditional items. Since we were new to the city, we relied on our cab driver’s recommendation, who assured us that while prices at this particular shop may be on the higher side, the products would be authentic. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be quite the opposite. We ended up purchasing sandalwood items, agarbattis, and a Minister White Men’s Cotton Shirt (Softy, Regular Fit) among other things. The sales lady convinced me that the shirt’s price was accurate and insisted it was high due to its premium quality. I was charged ₹3,298 + GST for that shirt. However, upon returning home and checking the official Minister White website, I was shocked to find the same shirt listed for just ₹695: Even worse, the sandalwood and agarbattis turned out to be fake – cheap imitations sold at an inflated price. Due to our tight schedule (we had a train to catch from Renigunta the same day), I didn’t scrutinize the bill thoroughly at the store. But after returning home, I reviewed the bill and discovered even more red flags: GST slab was not properly mentioned. They seem to have charged us around 13.64%, but there's no clarity on how that was calculated. Overall, the bill structure seemed unprofessional and lacked transparency. 📌 Key Takeaways: Don’t blindly trust shop recommendations made by cab drivers or tour guides, especially in pilgrimage towns. Always verify product prices online, especially branded items. Check the authenticity of the items and ask for itemized bills with proper tax details. This shop appears to exploit tourists by overcharging and misleading customers with inauthentic products. ❗Consider this review as a formal warning to fellow travelers. I’m attaching the bill below for reference so that others can avoid falling into the same trap.

**FRAUD!! Don't buy from this shop** I bought 3 god Balaji pictures (which they said 1gm gold plated) for Rs.2000 each and also bought kids dhoti for Rs.1980. Only when we checked the shops at Tirupati airport, we found that we have been cheated, each of the items we bought were not more than Rs.500!! Feeling cheated because we spent 3 times the price we are seeing at airport! Our driver had brought us here and looks like the driver will get commission out of it. Advice- To my surprise, the airport shops have quality and are well priced!!

Fake I bought red sandalwood stick, they told it is orginal and they have charged 1k for a very small piece, I have asked them, whether they are selling with certificate or not, and show the certificate, He started skipping words and he was telling, it is certified from central silk board. When i asked, silk board is for clothing and not for wood then, he deviated the topic and started telling some other stuff like it is certified from karnataka government. Why do we need karnataka government certificate, if the shop is Andhra pradesh. I have asked to show karnataka government certificate, then refused and showed gst. They are giving commission for cab drivers, and cab drivers were asking the bill price casually, and getting their commission Never buy in this shop.
