Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Dressland Uniforms (Modern Dresses), Main Road, Ranchi. We purchased our children's school uniforms just three days ago. At the time of purchase, we were clearly told that if there was any size issue, we could come back immediately for an exchange. However, when we visited the shop today at around 11:15 AM with the oversized uniform, we were bluntly told to wait for 30 minutes because the owner wanted to complete his personal rituals first. Our repeated requests that we had other urgent commitments were completely ignored. Respecting religious practices is one thing, but making customers wait unnecessarily during business hours without any consideration for their time is highly unprofessional. If these rituals are part of the daily routine, they should be completed before opening the shop or customers should be informed in advance. What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. They stood around without offering any help or solution, behaving as if customer inconvenience meant nothing. The warm smiles and promises made while selling the uniforms disappeared the moment we asked for an exchange. It became obvious that customer service ends once the payment is made. This shop seems to care more about making sales than standing behind its promises. If you value your time, expect basic courtesy, and want reliable after-sales service, think twice before buying uniforms from this store. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise parents to avoid this shop and purchase school uniforms from a business that genuinely values its customers.
