We bought 11 outfits from Zarkan. They have a nice variety and prices are competitive. All the outfits had to be either altered or the blouses had to be stitched. Owner said she would send the altered/stitched outfits to Mumbai. We received the outfits, BUT all 4 of my daughter’s outfits were tight and she had to wear them for a family wedding. We didn’t have a choice but to get them altered in Mumbai. The quality of the outfits is questionable - the string from my daughter’s blouse came off when she was removing the blouse. We paid a tailor INR 2000 to get the outfits altered. I received my blouses and to my dismay, they had a HORRIBLE fit. (See pictures) I reached out to the owner and she said she would arrange for a courier service to pick them up from Mumbai and she would alter them. The courier did not pick them up, so the day I was leaving to come back to the US, I had to drop them off to a courier. I spent INR 490, for Uber & the courier, which the owner said she would reimburse. Blouses were altered and sent back to my sister in Mumbai. Owner refused to reimburse the 2000 that I paid to get my daughter’s clothes altered. She said she would pay me 100-200 for the courier (not the 490 it cost me to drop off the blouses). I have no idea how the blouses fit, since they’re still in Mumbai and I’m back in the US. They must have inexperienced tailors. How on earth can you screw up 6 outfits? Owner was clearly at fault (very good at taking people’s money, but clearly no concept of customer service) and refused to budge. Didn’t want to pay me 2490 for the alterations. If you do not live in Jaipur and/or are an NRI, avoid this place because they do NOT alter clothes well. It’s a huge hassle and not worth the stress. What a nightmare. I’m going to post pictures of the blouses they made for me. She tried to rip another NRI off as well (see previous reviews). I am a huge supporter of women owned businesses, but will never give Zarkan my business again.

I’ve been in Zarkan Store last September during my trip to India all the way from Portugal. I must emphasize the kindness and professionalism that I have witnessed personally during my visit where I bought a beautiful Saree after choosing from a large selection on the store. Due to luggage weight restrictions, the shop made all the efforts to deliver the Saree that I have selected to my address in Portugal and I must thank all the attention given to me by Himanshee to guarantee the deliver the parcel with the Saree in my hands. I’m very happy with this experience and the kindness of the staff specially Himanshee, a remarkable lady and human being.
