One of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had.
I placed an order for a pair of scrubs and was promised delivery within 5 days. I paid the full amount of ₹1300 in advance. However, when I went to collect it after 5 days, they said it wasn’t ready and asked for another 5 days. This pattern kept repeating—each visit came with a new excuse: stitching pending, then material not arrived, despite earlier claims that cutting was already done. This clearly shows a lack of honesty and accountability.
In total, it took nearly 28 days to complete a single set of scrubs.
Delays can happen, and that’s understandable. But what’s unacceptable is the constant misinformation, failure to meet their own deadlines, not answering calls, and lack of proper communication.
To make matters worse, the final product was poorly done—wrong measurements, improper fitting, insufficient length, and even basic details like a shirt pocket were missing.
Overall, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in Mangalore. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Worst is not just a word. I'm posting this live from the shop as I have plenty of time here because I've been waiting for the last half an hour. The staff inside the garment factory are busy searching for the 2 shirts I had given for stitching 15- 20 days back.The lady says, stitching is done but she is not able to find the shirt. They are all giggling, talking to eachother, complete unprofessional behaviour.This is such an unorganised place. Look around you, you fill find only mess. Very poorly maintained, unprofessional place. Never ever I am visiting here again. No idea how long I will have to wait till they find the shirts.
Worst place ever . They promise and never deliver on time . I had given my order for uniform of st Aloysius school urwa .I had given order on 6th May and they told me to come on 15th June .I went to collect on 18th .but surprisingly they have not started with my uniform at all.the staffs keep on changing and the owner when I spoke he is just ignoring and he is not at all professional.same daybi went there were 5 customers from louders school and other school with same problem.so I request everyone pls don't go to the new textile shop mafatlai again .it's a humble request.i also request all the schools management not to promote this unfirom store and put the parents in trouble.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏worst and horrible team at mafatlai the new textile shop atbPVS above VRL office
Very disappointing service. The store promised to provide the uniform on a particular date, but they failed to deliver it on time. This is not the first time this has happened — they repeatedly delay orders and don’t keep their promises. It creates a lot of inconvenience, especially when the uniform is needed urgently. They should improve their commitment, communication, and delivery service. I hope they take customer deadlines more seriously.

However, despite the quality of the products, the service at Mafatlal leaves much to be desired. One significant issue we encountered was the delay in delivery. Even though we had our measurements taken three months in advance, the uniforms were not ready by the promised date. This delay caused quite a bit of inconvenience, especially since we had planned for a smooth transition to the new school year with all the necessary uniforms ready.
The store staff, while polite and seemingly knowledgeable, did not provide adequate updates on the status of our order. We had to follow up multiple times to get any information, which added to our frustration. The lack of communication and transparency regarding the delays was disappointing. When the uniforms finally arrived, they were satisfactory in terms of fit and quality, but the entire experience was overshadowed by the long wait.
It's understandable that sometimes there can be unforeseen delays, but it would have been much better if the store had proactively communicated with us and managed our expectations. In a situation where the uniforms are essential for school, timely delivery is crucial, and this is an area where Mafatlal needs to improve significantly.
Overall, Mafatlal Uniform Store offers decent-quality uniforms, but their service, especially in terms of delivery time and communication, needs attention. If they can streamline their processes and ensure timely delivery, it would greatly enhance the overall customer experience. For now, if you're considering purchasing uniforms from Mafatlal, it might be wise to plan well in advance and be prepared for potential delays.
